Before you startOverview
Arbitraging is a new cryptocurrency project which is both an ERC-20 token (ARB) and an easy-to-use hosted arbitrage bot that launched publicly on April 15th, 2018. How does this Arbitraging platform work? Arbitraging is a hosted arbitrage platform powered by an ERC20 cryptocurrency. The platform works like this:
What exactly is aBot? aBot, or automatic bot, is a script based off of Blackbird which is hosted on the arbitraging servers and applies arbitraging techniques to yield profits daily based on the amount of money input into aBot by the users. The bot utilises key trade parameters set for the adopted cryptocurrency with daily profits delivered in ARB tokens distributed out to all users based on their amount invested. aBot accepts in ARB tokens to process, sells those tokens at the current ARB price and then holds the investment in USD meaning that your holdings in aBot are not subject to ARB price fluctuations. When you move funds out of aBot (which you can do anytime), the funds are then converted back to ARB at the current ARB price. The profits from aBot are paid out in ARBs at the current market value of ARB. So if you had $1,000 invested, and made 1% that day, you’d get USD $10 WORTH of ARB tokens (not 10 tokens). If the token price is at $1, then you’d get 10 ARB tokens. If the ARB token price were at $10/token, you would get 1 ARB token in profit paid out that day. To understand how an arbitrage bot works, check out vBot which provides a simple demonstration of arbitrage by comparing prices across exchanges. Okay, what is Arbitrage? The philosophy behind Arbitrage software is to automatically profit from temporary price differences between currency on different exchanges. Usually Arbitrage involves two or more exchanges and there are several steps involved in the process:
Is this safe to use? In the cryptocurrency space, one must always be careful to critically evaluate a project, do their own research and evaluate risk/rewards for particular strategies. Here are the major potential risks for using Arbitraging:
Never ever put more into cryptocurrency or arbitraging then you safely can afford to lose. If losing the amount you have in the platform would ruin your life or cause you to have trouble sleeping, you’ve put in too much. |
